Are you ready to start taking piano lessons and experiment the joy of making music?
Even if you've never played an instrument before, there are plenty of good reasons you should start.

Music has the power to make you feel alive and experience emotional depth like almost nothing else. It can help to keep your mind sharp, your muscles in shape and is good for the soul.

Playing one’s favorite songs is one of the most enjoyable aspects of piano playing. If you are looking for a new creative activity, piano lessons are an excellent choice for almost anyone.

You can start a musical journey that goes from musical theory, history to piano techniques. It’s a chance to be creative, feel accomplished for mastering a new skill, connecting with yourself and others and for sheer pleasure itself. If you already play the piano, this is an opportunity to advance your skills as well.

Piano skills are a set of abilities developed over time playing the instrument.
As example this is a list of skills:
- expressive playing is such a virtue in performance.
- listening skills are also so important to get into a much wider aural awareness.
- theory topics such ideas of form, harmonic progression, musical history.
- practicing is also to know what to do about mistakes, how to improve and self
- assess, and how to go beyond the mere notes.

Every Friday from 9:00am to 1:00pm the piano instructor Paolo Bartolani is available to work with you at the Jamesport Meeting House scheduling individual weekly piano sessions of one hour or a half hour.
